Could live without the drama in the final match but appreciate the tour regardless. EU and USA/NA both finishing top 4 last year and finals this year is not good for the tour in my view. When I threw the US squad together, and it really was super last minute and unplanned and thrown together, I was not trying to create a “super team” and I didn’t ask the ABRs and Stars and BKCs of the world. I literally just grabbed the first people who expressed interest. I am thankful for my team, and they did an excellent job, but a part of me feels bad that we were so dominant and clearly more than a notch or two above some of the other teams. Coalition teams in this tour have been a touch too strong the past two years, this one especially, and it’s something we definitely want to look at going forward. I don’t know if that means banning/restricting coalition teams or making a bigger push for the squads from any given country to bring something closer to their A Team, but as is these coalition squads that are solid in all 8 slots are probably too much for this tour to handle. I apologize if their presence detracted from anyone’s enjoyment and I sincerely hope everyone had fun anyway.
