This team is a slight variation on the classic, with Reflect/SToss Chansey as its main difference. It epitomizes the style of Defensive Aggro, where you hold behind a wall until an opening, like an untimely opponent FP, presents itself and capitalize on that opening with a switch to a Physicalist. Ideally, you'll want Zam Sleeping, Chansey Paralyzed, and no other status on your team. With no Ice moves, Paralysis is your go-to status, and you should spread it at almost every chance you get. The team is designed for Rhydon to shine as a late game sweeper and to maximize the end-game monster that is Tauros after using a hyper-defensive Chansey to slow and poke their team and Lax to punch a major hole in their strongest defenses. This team served me well and let me hold the #1 ladder spot on PO for 9 months straight and on-and-off since then.

Alakazam
- Psychic
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss/Reflect
- Recover
I run Seismic Toss against predicted Sleep leads and Reflect against predicted Paralysis leads based off what I know about my opponent. I mix it up when laddering. Spread initial Paralysis, try to wake up against a Specialist late game. Because your Chansey doesn't pressure theirs, you can also bring Sleeping Zam into the Chansey ditto to pressure them to switch and do a mix up of counter-switching and shaving off Sleep turns. If you've lost Chansey, come in against Reflect Zam to force it out before you wake up. Seismic Toss is better on lead Zam in a vacuum because of higher damage openers, but Zam wakes up more often than usual on this team because of how often he's used as a bluffing tool, and Reflect Zam is better after waking up.

Exeggutor
- Sleep Powder
- Psychic
- Mega Drain
- Explosion
Eggy plays the secondary role of defensive pivot on your team behind Chansey, sponging Psychics and Goldon. Because most of your team is physical and isn't too afraid of the standard Chansey once it's paralyzed, Eggy wants to Mega Drain or blow up on the Physically bulky Water types like Starmie, Lapras, or Slowbro to clear the path for the rest of your team once any Rocks are neutralized. Explosion also provides a nice 1-2 punch against Reflect Zam if you don't have Chansey. Starting with Paralysis and saving Sleep lets me use a threatened Sleep to pressure switches, allowing me to switch from defense to offense with proper prediction or to force out Reflect/Rest users. After they revenge kill with Tauros, if you bring in Eggy, they'll often switch to a Paralyzed Pokemon, allowing you to capitalize with the Physicalist of your choice. You can also switch into a Tauros Hyper Beam and Sleep the bull on the recharge turn if you're at high HP (full HP usually survives the Crit). However because I save Sleep for high priority targets late game, it's far more important than normal for Eggy to avoid getting Paralyzed.

Snorlax
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Hyper Beam
- Selfdestruct
The standard stallbreaker Snorlax. Because Reflect Chansey tends to draw Lax boom, you're often spared from fighting the ditto and get to use Lax to fight Specialists. You'll often trade Paralysis for a Body Slam on Chansey or Starmie. Make sure that once you have that pressure, you don't let them undo your hard work by healing up against your Eggy or Chansey. Lapras (especially with Rest instead of Tbolt) and Slowbro can present problems for this team, so don't feel afraid to use Selfdestruct basically as soon as they're in range (which means checking that Slowbro won't use Reflect or hoping to win that speed tie). If you can keep Lax unstatused, it gets to use Hyper Beam very often on this team thanks to setups from Chansey in the Defensive Aggro style.

Chansey
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Reflect
- Softboiled
The key to the team. This Chansey's job is to Paralyze anyone in front of her and poke as much as possible before letting loose the flood of Physicalists to finish the job. While no Ice Beam means she's forced out in the Chansey ditto while unstatused, she should Paralyze the other Chansey first before you go to Lax. Starmie and Lapras feel less threatened by you because you lack Thunderbolt, but Starmie still dislikes Paralysis and Lapras has a hard time killing through Reflect, so the matchups are still in your favor. You're also virtually incapable of defeating Slowbro on your own, but the rest of your team can usually take care of that, especially with the saved Sleep from Eggy.
On the plus side, the Chansey ditto swings into your favor once you're Paralyzed because you win the PP war by a significant margin, and if they get to the point where they're using Thunderbolts or Thunder Waves, it can be a great time to bring in Rhydon. You also have a winning matchup against Zam, a traditionally weak matchup, because Seismic Toss forces Zam to spend most of its time healing. If you ever get Paralyzed Non-Reflect Zam low, feel free to bring in Snorlax or Rhydon. If Zam Recovers, you still threaten KO with Hyper Beam or Earthquake, and if it FPs, you get a huge advantage. Reflect Zam has only 16 Psychic PP, and because it spends so much time Recovering, between Chansey, Mega Drain Eggy, and Sleeping Zam, you can stall it out even easier than a standard team could.
You'll often find yourself facing a Snorlax early game. After Paralyzing it and poking it, the key is to predict which turn it will Selfdestruct. If you Softboiled to full right before it does, you can heal through anything that doesn't Crit. You'll usually be playing a guessing game against Tauros, who will go for either Hbeam or Crit Slam. Even if you mispredict here, at least their Snorlax only went 1 for 1. I tend not to try to sponge the Selfdestruct with Rhydon unless they're below 20% and have no other choice because Rhydon's main role is as a sweeper, so mispredicting and getting Paralyzed off a Body Slam would be brutal.

Rhydon
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Body Slam
- Substitute
The standard sweeper Rhydon. Save it for late game instead of getting into fights with Lax like Golem and defensive Rhydon do. Rhydon can start to sweep once Eggy is Paralyzed and below 60%. If they have Starmie, you'll want to throw Body Slams until it's Paralyzed. When using your Chansey vs. Non-Reflect Slowbro, switch in Rhydon on the predicted Rest. Remember that Substitute gives you chances of netting free turns because your opponents will normally be Paralyzed. Most moves deal 50-70% to Rhydon, so if you're at full or between 25-50%, the Substitute is basically free against a Paralyzed opponent (assuming they're not running any Electrics).
Tauros
- Body Slam
- Hyper Beam
- Earthquake
- Blizzard
This team wants Tauros to be used about as classically as possible. Revenge kill and late game sweep the Paralyzed and hurt opponents. The biggest advantage you often get from Reflect Chansey is when she's able to Paralyze the opposing Tauros early when Tauros comes in to finish her off after a boom.
