Why no Mint Berry on Skarm/Missy?

 

Mint berry only works if you rest, and takes the element of surprise away from the thief. Thiefs work better on the switch when they do not expect it to happen. If missy rests and mint berries, there is a high chance they will switch out their steelix or something in fear of thief, making you hit the wrong target.

 

You're relying on taking 0 damage on the switch in to make Thief a surprise anyway. Lack of Leftovers is already a giveaway.

 

0 damage is easily done with a double switch and no spikes. Forcing doubles is child’s play. Keep spikes off the field.
