If spongebob was a pokemon, I'd make him a physical wall. A reverse Chansey with high HP and accompanying defensive stat. I would do this because of the episode where flats flounder punched him all day and night but to no avail.
He'd have a low special def stat because an electric shock to a wet sponge should make him die.
I'd give him a high'ish special attack stat to blast water obviously. And he'd have a pitiful attack stat because his workout involved lifting stuffed animals on barbells. But he would have access to karate chop. Because kar-a-te.
