Help... apparently I need it.

As you will soon see, I went for a Rock/Ground/Steel typed team because those are my favourite types and would like to keep it that way. Keeping this in mind, I tried to make it as diverse as I could and get some decent coverage. I know very little about stats, natures, EVs, Ivs, and all that jazz but I did my best.

Spr_4d_323_m.png
Camerupt (F) @Charcoal
Ability: Solid Rock
Nature: Impish
281/236/217/221/249/158
-Eruption
-Earthquake
-Flamethrower
-Earthpower

She is here to take care of those pesky grass, ice, and steel types that think they have a massive advantage over rock, ground, and steel types.

376.png
Metagross (N/A) @Mind Plate
Ability: Clear Body
Nature: Adamant
301/348/324/299/244/207
-Meteor Mash
-Hammer Arm
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball

Metagross can also do a number against ice types as well as using Hammer Arm to dispel any normal types and shadow ball for any ghost and psychic types.

AggronShinySprite.gif
Aggron (M) @Expert Belt
Ability: Rock Head
Nature: Jolly
315/256/422/140/203/149
-Iron Head
-Ice Punch
-Head Smash
-Iron Tail

Ice Punch for grass and ground types, Iron Head and Ion Tail for STAB and Head Smash because it's an Aggron. This is also my favourite pokemon if you couldn't tell.

aerodactyl_sprite.png
Aerodactyl (M) @Muscle Band
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Adamant
347/271/201/140/231/296
-Thunder Fang
-Fly
-Rock Slide
-Earthquake

Fly takes care of any fighting, grass, and bug types, Thunder Fang is good for water and flying, Earthquake helps to protect him from electric types, and Rock Slide because STAB.

346.png
Cradily (M) @Poison Barb
Ability: Suction Cups
Nature: Rash
339/198/238/217/252/185
-Sludge Bomb
-Giga Drain
-Ancient Power
-Energy Ball

Yeah, because an Aerodactyl with Thunder Fang is really going to be my only defence against water types. I also added in Sludge Bomb because I like that move and it helps with grass types.

(insert Omanyte sprite here)
Omastar (M) @Nevermeltice
Ability: Shell Armour
Nature: Bashful
341/165/286/266/207/200
-Rock Slide
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Hydro Pump

This is my real ground type counter. Ground types aren't the only thing he can fight against though. I would honestly be an idiot not to have a water type on this team.

Hmm, is this an in-game team or a competitive team? Either way, some advice.

First of all, picking your favourites is generally not the best battle strategy, there is a certain amount of wiggle room, but truthfully one wants to be mixing it up, looking for type synergy. You also seem to have some move redundancies - You shouldn't have Iron Head and Iron Tail on Aggron or Surf and Hydro Pump on Omastar, you need to keep variety.

For individual sets, I recommend looking them up on Smogon until you're confident enough to make your own and generally only a few items are ever used competitively (smogon can help with that too). Unfortunately, I can't help much without knowing your actual EV numbers for your stats.

Your tiering seems to be all over the place too. Generally, most cometitive battles take place in the OU tier (and due to Metagross, your team is OU right now), and although saying all your pokemon should come from OU is the highest degree of bullshit (My OU team runs 2 UUs), some of your pokemon certainly aren't viable there (Aggron, Omastar, Camerupt and Cradily are generally never seen), so they may want replacing.

I hope I've been helpful :)

You have way to many weaknesses that you cant counter. Something like Starmie kills you, because of your rocks, flying and water. For that, I suggest Scizor, and then you are wicked weak to fighting types, so go for something to counter it. I dont really know considering the types you are trying to stick with. If you dont mind using a non-ground/steel thing, go for Reuniclus. Hope this helps.
