I don't like naruto at all. My favourite is Dragon Ball Z.

Claymore, Tenjho Tenge, FMA Brotherhood (the original FMA sucked). Really enjoyed Gargantia On the Virdirous Planet too. If you're an anime fan and you haven't seen any of these you need to!
No, as much as some of those Pokemon films held a sense of wonder, there's no way I can put them on any top list.

I've watched a lot of great anime since, (I like Claymore and FMA brotherhood btw, haven't seen the other).
I'm not sure about my best anymore, but Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin is a beautiful one I've seen in the past year.
Other ones I think are amazing are: Hunter x Hunter 2011, Monster, Yu Yu Hakusho, Outlaw Star, Black Lagoon, Welcome to the NHK, Eden of the East (Higashi no Eden) and Hajime no Ippo.
I can list a lot of others that have come close for me, but I'd really recommend Rainbow Nisha for one.
I'm not sure about my best anymore, but Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin is a beautiful one I've seen in the past year.

I used to like the whole Hokuto No Ken thing: it was popular mainly as a TV series in Italy. Good old 80s-90s.
RWBY is the only anime I've ever watched and its a solid choice. Stunning visuals, a lot of action and just <3
That's a lot of suggestions I haven't seen Lutra, I'll have to check some of them out! I started watching Eden of the East actually, I quite liked it but deviated for no real reason other than I felt the character designs lacked charm, I can't really put my finger on it, I just think they weren't very stimulating concepts visually. I might have to give it another go, these days I tend to go with what Netflix offers me rather getting through 10 pirates before I find a watchable one. Crunchy Roll aint what it used to be 
I've probably watched every episode of bleach at least 3 times, the good bits of that anime was really good, but it isn't a top ranker for me because (a) they killed Ulquiorra and he was just epic, (b) too much sentimental emotional filler for my tastebuds.
RWBY was really good actually, had that 3D polygon look to it like Appleseed, great character designs, shame it was just a short series. Naruto I have never been able to like, I think I'm just too old for it. D-Gray Man I loved actually, and Death Note, though Death Note isn't one of those animes you can really watch more than once. I will check out some of those suggestions Lutra, do you have a site you watch them?
