50 KB is rather small (the XenForo-recommended 200x200 often barely fits, depending on file type), and there seems to be some sort of problem with bounds checking since I just tried to upload a 47.1KB avatar (attached) and it didn't go through.
Would you mind increasing it, at least a little? I've had to resize and lower quality on my last eight or so avatars, which all worked fine on other forums.
